Pre B License

C License (Replaces B Pre-Test)
The C License is a mandatory pre-requisite for any coaches wishing to pursue the Canadian Soccer Association’s B License Program or the pending Development Stream Workshops (Children’s License). The course will focus on the individual within the team environment on the following modules:

Game Understanding
Develop abilities to analyze
Plan a practice
Provide Support to Players in Training aimed at the player
Provide Support to Players in Training (Coaching Methodology)
Soccer Conditioning
Support in Competition
Better Understanding of the role of a coach

The theory component of this course includes the NCCP Competition Introduction Modules delivered through the Department of Health and Wellness. For information on NCCP theory courses in Nova Scotia, please refer to the following site: www.coachingns.ca

Course: July 25th, 26th, August 1st & 2nd – C License Application – 2015

 

B License – Part 1

The B License Part 1 focuses on working with high performance youth soccer players U13 and older. This course involves both theory and practical coaching work. The theory components include: stages of development, methodology of training, session planning and the laws of the game (11-a-side). The practical components are heavily geared towards the ability of the coach to plan and implement effective training sessions based on a variety of pre-selected technical and tactical coaching topics.
