Where & When Does Training Happen?
Training occurs in parallel to the delivery of the Canada Soccer Grassroots Coach Education Courses (GCEs).
The GCEs are delivered, within clubs, in the spring (before the summer season starts) or in the fall (before the winter season starts).
LF training steps 3, 4, and 5 (refer to LF training steps outlined) occur in two windows:
Window 1: April, May, and June
Window 2: September, October, and November
Fill in the application form to start the process, or connect with Nino Kovačević at email@example.com to ask more questions prior to applying.
Who Can Take the Training?
Club staff who work in soccer development spaces are the target demographic.
If you are a club or a region that does not have access to paid staff, we encourage you to identify a community champion that has experience coaching plus teaching or working with adults in a developmental role.
