SPECIAL INCIDENT REPORT

  • This form may be used to report a Special Incident not covered by Team Official or Player
    Dismissal Reports including further misconduct following a dismissal.
  • The incident details section must indicate if this report is for referral to the appropriate Discipline Committee or for information purposes to Soccer Nova Scotia. SNS may refer any incident to the
    appropriate Discipline Committee.
  • This report may be filed by any appointed Official, Referee Assessor or Supervisor of
    Officials.
  • The Referee must submit this report within 48 hours of the game.
  • Offences against match officials must be referred to the Soccer Nova Scotia Discipline
    Committee.

Please use the SNS Referee Travel Allowance Rates to determine amounts for travel and meals found on the SNS website, www.soccerns.ca, or contact ref.services@soccerns.ca or admin@soccerns.ca.

Please submit your claim to the appropriate league or SNS depending on the event/competition within 14 days of the travel required for game assignments.

The Referee will be designated the DRIVER and the AR"s will be designated PASSENGERS. If other arrangements are made, it must be noted above. There will only be ONE driver allowance and 1-2 passenger allowances paid out unless referees are travelling from areas in the province where they are unable to travel together.

The assessment fee will be applied to the Referee's RAMP registration Account for payment. Payment may be made online, by cheque payable to Soccer Nova Scotia, or etransfer for the amount indicated. For e-transfer details please e-mail admin@soccerns.ca.


  • Assessments will not be arranged without the fee paid in advance.
  • Fees will be forfieted if the official does not provide notice of change in availability at least 48 hours in advance of arranged game.
  • Fees will be refunded if the assessment cannot be arranged
  • The provincial assessment program reserves the right to arrange assessments at its expense with or without notice

REFEREE FEES

This Referee Fee Schedule does not indicate the number of officials required for each division. If you are unsure of the number of officials required for a division, please check with your club or league.

Referee Fees are subject to change if there are changes with the structure of the divisions. For example, game lengths are increased or decreased.

*The Referee will be designated the DRIVER and the AR’s will be designated PASSENGERS. If other arrangements are made, it must be noted on the Referee Travel Claim Form. **Travel that requires overnight accommodations will be arranged by Soccer Nova Scotia; meal allowances will be determined based on travel/game times.

Travel claims must be submitted on the SNS Referee Travel Allowance Claim form within 14 days of the travel required for game assignments.
