Soccer Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that Neven Wilson has joined our team as the Facility Manager for the BMO Soccer Centre. With a strong recreation and facility management background, Neven is an excellent addition to our organization.
Neven has over 15 years of experience managing recreational facilities, including overseeing operations at venues with up to seven ice surfaces. His expertise includes ice-making, arena refrigeration, and building maintenance. Additionally, he has served 13 years as a Senior Instructor with the Alberta Association of Recreational Facilities Personnel (AARFP).
In addition to his technical skills, Neven is proficient in financial management and customer service. His experience includes budget management, supervising facility systems, and leading diverse teams while maintaining a hands-on approach. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated great leadership, adaptability, and a genuine passion for community engagement.
Darrel Cormier, the outgoing Facility Manager, will remain with the BMO Soccer Centre during a transitional period until his retirement at a later date. Soccer Nova Scotia thanks Darrel for his countless years of dedication to BMO SC and to the beautiful game. Join us in thanking Darrell and welcoming Neven to the team.
