Soccer Nova Soccer Announces Quality Soccer Provider Designations and Member Association Level 1
Soccer Nova Soccer is proud to announce that four member clubs have received designations, recognizing the hard work they have put into their organizations. Three clubs were granted the Quality Soccer Provider designation, while one was granted Member Association Level 1.
These designations were announced as part of the September 2023 cohort of the Canada Soccer Youth Club Licensing Program announcement. Soccer Nova Scotia thanks all those who have contributed to reaching the first and second stages of the Club Soccer License Program. This achievement is a significant step for Soccer Nova Scotia’s commitment to promoting growth and development in our community.
Quality Soccer Providers
- East Hants Soccer Club
- South Shore United FC
- Storm Soccer Club
The Canada Soccer Standards for Quality Soccer outline the minimum expectations for member organizations in Canada. Quality Soccer Providers must provide a developmentally appropriate, safe, enjoyable, accessible, inclusive, and welcoming playing environment for their participants. Additionally, member organizations must be in good standing with their governing organization(s) and meet the expectations of membership.
Member Association – Level 1
- Cape Breton FC
Member Association – Level 1 builds on the characteristics and behaviours of an organization in the Canada Soccer Standards for Quality Soccer with a balance of expectations across governance, administration, infrastructure, and technical pillars. Organizations achieving the Provincial/Territorial Youth Club Licence – Level 1 demonstrate their commitment to quality and to providing an enhanced participant experience.
Soccer Nova Scotia will continue to provide year-round support and guidance to any organization working to meet the Canada Soccer Club license requirements. For more information, contact Soccer Nova Scotia’s Manager, Club Licensing, Marisa Colzie.
