WHAT IS IT?

The 2024 Annual Returning Referee Registration is now available!

The Annual Returning Referee Registration is valid from April 1 through to the following March 31. The RAMP Official Registration form is available annually in early March.

Your 2023 Annual Official Registration expires on March 31, 2024.

To be fully registered to officiate games starting April 1, your registration and payment must be received by March 31 of the same year and your Returning Referee Refresher Clinic completed. Online registration and payment must be completed.

Late Registrations:

  • All late registrations will be accepted.
  • There will be a grace period for late registrations between April 1 – May 15 without a late fee penalty.
  • Late registrations received from May 16 onward will be subject to a late fee penalty in the amount of $25 as prescribed by Soccer Nova Scotia (SNS).

To be added to the List of Active Referees and eligible to officiate games, the following must be completed:

  1. Online Annual Referee Registration through RAMP Registrations
  2. Online Payment
  3. Annual Returning Referee Refresher Clinic completed – online registration in RAMP Registrations prior to the Referee Refresher Clinic is required. All Refresher Clinics are listed under Camps and Clinics

Returning Referee Registration Fees by Classification:

  • Youth (Under 16, Completed Entry Level Referee Course) – $115.00
  • District (16 and older, Completed Entry Level Referee Course) – $115.00
  • Regional (Completed Regional Upgrading Course &Fitness Test) – $125.00
  • Provincial (Completed Provincial Upgrading Course & Fitness Test) – $135.00
  • National (Appointment to National List by Canada Soccer) – $135.00

Indoor Season Certification – to officiate during the 2024-2025 Indoor Fall/Winter season

  1. There is no longer a separate Indoor Season Registration
  2. The Indoor Season is now included when you complete the Annual Returning Referee Registration.
  3. The annual online Indoor Refresher Quiz must be completed to be Indoor Certified – available annually in the early Fall
